Mike Wang Removed Limitless Takeoff Badge From NBA 2K24

There are many badges in NBA 2K23 that have left a mark on the NBA 2K community. The Limitless Takeoff badge is a TOP TIER badge and has been glorified by players that attack the rim. This badge is known to cause players to launch into a dunk animation farther than normal from the basket which can make the dunk much more difficult to block. If you were on defense and the offensive player gets this animation, more times than not, you were getting dunked on. This was the power behind the Limitless Takeoff badge and with one tweet from Mike Wang, it’s gone:

When attacking the basket, a player with this badge will start their dunk animation from farther out than others.

Why Remove The Limitless Takeoff Badge?

For some, this may come as a surprise but for others, they saw this coming. Just last week, Mike Wang released a similar post around the same time, removing another Rim Driving friendly badge, Quick Drop:

This raises a lot of questions concerning how Rim Driving will be in NBA 2K24. This may also mean that defense may be increased with the removal of these offensive-friendly badges. Mike Wang may also be hinting that players will have more control when driving to the lane and choosing when to activate a dunk. With the mention of the new groundbreaking ProPLAY technology, that directly translates NBA footage into NBA 2K24 gameplay, there are a lot of questions that players are sitting on the edge of their seats about. We should see more news regarding NBA 2K24 in the coming weeks.

How to Unlock and Summon the Necromancer’s Golem in Diablo 4

The Necromancer is one of the main summoning classes in Diablo 4 that specializes in raising the army of the dead to fight by your side. As a Necromancer, you will be able to summon three main types of minions that can specialize in different aspects of combat. Skeletal Warriors, Skeletal Mages, and the much-desired Golem are the three minion types that you will be able to call upon. You can find each minion type in the “Book of the Dead”.

At the start of the game, you will only have access to the Skeletal Warriors. As you progress your character’s level, you will eventually unlock the Skeletal Mages at level 15. To unlock the Necromancer’s final and strongest minion, the Golem, there are a few extra steps that need to be taken.

How to Unlock the Golem Minion

Once your player reaches level 25, you will unlock the quest called “Necromancer: Call of the Underworld”. The beginning of this quest will take you to meet a famous Master Necromancer named Maltorius. Maltorius will send you on a series of quests before completing a ritual that will induct you into the ranks of Rathma’s priesthood. Once you complete the ritual you will unlock the final Golem Minion in the Book of the Dead.

How to Load Manage Players in NBA 2K23 MyNBA

In today’s NBA League load management is a strategy that is used to help prevent players from getting injured by reducing their time on the court. In the past, we’ve seen players like Kawhi Leonard use load management plenty of times to make sure that he keeps his body healthy. In NBA 2K23’s MyNBA mode, you can help prevent player injuries by using the same tactics.

Why load management?

As you progress through your MyNBA season your team will begin to experience fatigue. This can lead to player injuries and reduced performance on the court. You can see the team’s fatigue percentage, team fitness, and load-managed players under the Team Overview on your team’s Training Schedule page.

Placing players on load management will allow them to opt out of high-stress practices and choose a lower-stress option at the expense of training toward their ideal player type.

Steps

To place a player on load management follow these steps:

From the main MyNBA home screen, open the navigation menu and go to the “Training” tab.
In the “Training” tab select and open “Individual Training”.
On this screen, you can select the player that you would like to place on load management. Select the player, level of load management, and confirm.

If you would like to take a player off the load management schedule, you can use the same steps. You can view the updated Team Overview screen to see any new players added to the load management list.

Diablo 4 – How to Get a Horse Mount

Unlocking a mount in Diablo 4 is one of the first things that most players aim to achieve in the early stages of the game. Diablo 4’s map is massive and having a mount to ride on will help in exploring it faster. You are introduced to the stable master early in the game when your character arrives in the city of Kyovashad with Lorath. Do not get too excited because unfortunately, the option to purchase a horse is locked. You will have to do some questing and progress through the main story before you can get your hands on your own mount.

How to get a mount

Diablo 4 has a total of 6 Acts, each varying in length. To get a mount in Diablo 4, you will need to progress through each Act until you reach Act IV: A Gathering Storm. At the beginning of Act IV, you will receive the quest: Donan’s Favor. You must complete this quest to get your first mount.

Once you complete the quest: A Master’s Touch, Donan will tell you to visit the Stable Master in Kyovashad. Oskar, the Stable Master, will give you one of the mounts free of charge. Once you complete the quest, you can purchase additional mounts from different Stable Masters throughout Sanctuary. Each mount you purchase can be used on all characters on your account. You can summon your mount in almost all locations except for dungeons and other limited areas.

Mount Customization and Gear

What would mounts be without some customization? Mounts in Diablo 4 have a number of customization options available that include mount type, armor, and trophies that can be attached to the saddle of your horse. There is also a marketplace where you can spend real money to purchase additional cosmetics.

Mount Skills

Your mount comes with basic mount and dismount skills that can be used almost anywhere along with class-specific skills that can be used while you have it summoned. Your mount can become scared when around too many enemies or takes too much damage. If this happens you will be knocked off and have to wait for a cooldown to end before you can summon it again.

With your new mount unlocked in Diablo 4, you can travel to quests and dungeons faster while leveling up those paragon levels.

How to Add a Created Player to a Custom Draft Class on NBA 2K22 Next-Gen

Creating a player can be one of the most exciting things to do in NBA 2K22. You can completely customize a player’s attributes and build type. The player can be as tall, fast, or skilled as you want. The best thing about creating a player is that you can add them to a draft class to use in other modes. There are two ways to do this.

Draft your custom player.

If you haven’t already created a player, you can do this by going to the features menu and selecting the create a player option. Select either the NBA or WNBA depending on what you want to make. You have the option to start from scratch, use current NBA players as a template, or use other templates that players across the 2K community have created. When you are finished, make sure you save your new custom player. The player should now be in the “Created Player” list. Now you are ready to add your created player to a draft class.

Follow these steps:

Select “Create a draft class”
In the features menu, scroll over to and select the “Create a draft class option.”
Select “NBA” or “WNBA”
Choose the league that your created player is in.
Select a draft class type
There are user templates and old rosters that you can use for ideas.
Find your created player and select “copy to draft class”
Once you select a draft type, you can see all the players that are in the upcoming draft for your next season. At the top, scroll to the “Created Players” menu to see the player you just created, or if you already made a player, they should be listed here.
Remove a player from the current draft class
In order for you to add your player, you will need to remove someone from the current draft class. The player that you remove will be removed permanently.
Save and Exit
Load your custom draft class when starting a new season
When you create a new MyNBA or WNBA season and get to the part where it asked you about the draft class, make sure that you select the “Load Draft Class” option.
Select “User-Created Draft Class”
In the Draft Class picker select User-Created Draft Class.
Select and load the draft class of your choice
Scroll over to “My Files” and load up the draft class that you created.

You are also able to use a second method to add your created player to a draft class. After you create your player go straight to creating a new MyNBA or MyWNBA season and select “Create or edit draft class” when you’re asked about what draft class you want to use. You will have the option to add your created play here just like you would in the first method. That’s all there is to it. When the draft comes around you should see all the players that you added in the draft.

Creating personalized shoes is a great way to show your friends a design that you have been thinking of.

Design your dream shoe!

Follow these steps:

Open the “Features” menu
From the main start menu, go to the “Features” menu.
Select “Shoe Creator”
In the features menu look for the option that says Shoe Creator, it should be on the right side of the screen.
Choose a brand and shoe type
Once you are in the Shoe creator you can start by choosing the type of brand you want,
Add and customize layers to your shoe
You can rotate and zoom in on the shoe as you start making changes by using the controls at the bottom of the screen. On the right, you can start adding and selecting the layers that you want to change.
Create a design name and save
Once you’ve finished making your shoe, make sure that you create a design name and save it.
Purchase your shoe at the shoe store of the brand that you created.
With your shoe created, you can jump onto your MyPlayer and head to the shoe store of the brand that you selected. Look for the shoe in the shoe list and purchase it.

How to Make NBA 2K22 Easier

If you are new to NBA 2K22 or have difficulty winning games, there are settings that can make the game easier to play. On the surface, NBA 2K22 has difficulty settings that range from Rookie to Hall of Fame. Hall of Fame may be considered the most realistic gameplay however, it is also the most difficult setting to win on. You should only play on this level if you have decent experience playing 2K. Rookie is considered the easiest difficulty but for some this setting is still too difficult to play on.

When you are playing against other players online, the difficulty is locked to a default setting. The difficulty depends on what game mode you are playing. For example, when you are playing the MyTeam mode, you will not be able to change the difficulty to Rookie. You are stuck with the default setting that the 2K developers set it to. Your best bet is to practice and try to get better to compete against other players. On the other hand, if you are playing the Play Now mode, you can make the game as easy as you want.

Rookie is too hard!

If you find that the rookie difficulty is too hard, you have another setting that you can change. Sliders are NBA 2K22’s way of letting the player fully customize all aspects of the game. Sliders allow you to change things such as foul frequency, how easy it is to make shots, defensive difficulty, and much more. You can make the game as easy or difficult as you would like. If you are trying to get better at the game, I do not suggest you adjust the sliders. It could, however, lead to making incredible highlights. Messing with the sliders can make the game extremely fun and it is a great way to play without having to try too hard.

NBA 2K22 slider settings

Follow these steps:

Go to the “Features” menu
From the main screen go to the features menu.
Choose “CPU and User Sliders”
In this menu choose “CPU and User Sliders”
Adjust the sliders or use the user-created settings
This is where you can adjust all aspects of the game. At the top make sure that you have the correct tab selected. Whether you want to make changes for the user or for the computer. You have two options: adjust the sliders yourself or use settings that were made by players in the 2k community.

To make the game as easy as possible, I suggest choosing a user-created setting that says something like “100 User / 0 CUP.” You can manually move the slides but it may take some time to do. Just make sure that you save what you change when you finish.

You also have the option to do this while you’re in a game. Just go to the start menu and under the options section and select CPU sliders. You can move the sliders here or load the one that you want. You also have the option to use the premade ones. Now you can be unstoppable and create some crazy clips.

How to Easily Make Your First Shoe in NBA 2K22 Next-Gen MyTeam Mode

If you have not customized and equipped shoes for your players in NBA 2K22 MyTeam, you are seriously missing out on boosts that help improve player stats. By equipping shoes on players, you can increase attributes such as vertical, dunks, speed, and much more. If you have a player that you wish could have better ball handling, add the ball handling boost to the shoe and equip them on the player. Trust me, this is something that you definitely want to do before you play your next game.

Shoes add boosts to your players.

Before customizing your first shoe, it is important that you pay close attention to the type of shoe that each player can equip. Each player can only equip the brand of shoe that is indicated on their card. For example, if you have a Micheal Jordan card that has the Jordan symbol on the card, you cannot equip a pair of Nikes on that player. You should also know that some shoes have a limit to how many times they can be used. There are shoes that have an unlimited amount of usage and should be placed on your favorite players.

Follow these steps:

Open the “MY TEAM”
In the MyTeam home screen go over to the “MY TEAM” tab at the top of the screen.
Select “MT SHOE LAB”
In the “MY TEAM” menu select the second to last option “MT SHOE LAB”
Choose a shoe to customize from the shoe menu
In this menu, you have your list of shoes that you can customize and add boosts to. Each shoe will show you the amount of boost that you can add to each shoe. This is indicated by the green number in the top left of the card. When you decide on a shoe you want to customize select the shoe and pick one of the spots where you can add a boost.
Add boosts to the shoe
From the list boosts at the bottom of the screen, select and add them to the shoe in each of the open spots.
On the previous menu, select ” Lineups Management” and select your lineup
Now that you created the shoe. You need to put it on one of your players. On the previous menu, select ” Lineups Management” and select the line that you would like to edit.
Select a player to edit
Choose the player that you want to add the shoe to and select “edit player.”
Equip shoe on player
The last option in the menu “Apply Shoes” lets you apply the shoe that you created.

How to Turn Off Auto Time-Outs in NBA 2K22 MyTeam

There are several settings in NBA 2K22 that can be changed to give you more control during a game. Along with playing as the NBA stars on the court, you also can make coaching decisions from the sideline. One of the major decisions that you can make during a game is calling timeouts. Timeouts in a basketball game are used for various strategic reasons and can potentially determine the outcome of a game if used correctly. By default, this setting is set to automatic. This means your A.I. coach can call timeouts without your permission.

Use timeouts strategically.

When the other team starts to go on a large run or you start having too many turnovers, your coach might automatically call a timeout to stop the momentum from going to the other team. If you are down by one point with 10 seconds left on the clock, the coach again may call a timeout to move the ball up the court. This would put you in a better position to hit that winning shot. For some players, this is great because it helps manage the game. For others, this may not be the best setting because they may not want to burn their timeouts so early. Changing this setting will give you a little more control over the game and help with those unexpected timeouts that are called.

Follow these steps:

Open “MY TEAM” tab
From the MyTeam home screen go over to the “MY TEAM” tab at the top of the screen.
Go to “Lineups Management” and select your lineup
Once you are in the “MY TEAM” Menu, go to “Lineups Management” on the left.
Scroll to “Coaching” and select “Coach Settings”
Scroll over to coaching at the top of the screen then scroll down to and select “coach settings.”
In the coach settings menu, there will be the “Timeout” option with a default setting of auto. Change this to manual.
You will now be able to fully control when timeouts are called.

There are also a number of other settings in the “Coach Settings” menu that you should check out if you are trying to have more control of the coaching side of the game like substitutions and play calling. That’s pretty much all you have to do!
