In NBA 2K22 MyTeam mode you are able to choose from a variety of NBA playbooks to diversify your game when playing online. For players that play the MyTeam mode, a good playbook that fits their strategies and style is key. There’s a lot to choose from, new and old school, to fit your preference of play.
Playbook choice is key!
The playbook that you start off with may not have the plays or style of basketball that you like to run. Luckily you can change this if you have acquired additional playbooks from the trade market, challenges, or opening card packets. Basically, you have to earn and unlock the additional playbook that you want to use. Once you acquire your dream playbook, you will need to equip it with your current lineup.
Follow these steps:
- Open “MY TEAM” tab
From the MyTeam home screen go over to the “MY TEAM” tab at the top of the screen.
- Select “Lineups Management” and select your lineup
Once you are in the “MY TEAM” Menu, go to “Lineups Management” on the left.
- Select “Coaching” and choose “Change Playbook”
Scroll over to coaching at the top of the screen and select the second option “Change Playbook.”
- Decide what playbook fits you
From here, you can see your current playbook on the left and the remaining playbooks that you have in your inventory. Compare the types of plays that each playbook contains and decide what you like to run the most.
- Select “Replace Item”
When you find a playbook that you like select “Replace Item” at the bottom of the screen. Your new playbook will be updated and you should be able to view it on the previous screen.
