This year in NBA 2K22 Next-Gen, players are able to unlock a penthouse which can be done by earning Most Valuable Player (MVP) points. These points can be earned in a variety of ways by completing tasks around the city. NBA 2K22 Next-Gen offers a number of new features for new and old players to enjoy and the penthouse is one to be largely desired.
Penthouse Benefits and Features
There are various reasons why players would want to unlock the penthouse. Some want to show off to their friends (unfortunately they cannot enter your new living space), some want a nice view of the city skyline, and most of the players have had their eye on the zipline that sits on top of the building.
The new zipline is one of 2K’s most impressive and desirable features this year and for a very good reason. Players are able to ride the zipline from the top of the penthouse to any of the four parks in the city (North Side Knights, Western Wildcats, South City Vipers, and Beasts of the East). This is pretty much 2K’s version of fast travel in the game. Players can simply fast travel to their penthouse, then ride the zipline to the park affiliation closest to where they are trying to go. What makes this even better is that the parks are positioned in the four corners of the city. Traveling around the city just got a lot easier!
Interior Design
Once players enter the penthouse they can see right away that there are a number of changes and upgrades that set it apart from the previous apartment. There is a nice open kitchen in which Ricky quickly set up shop, two large fully furnished lounge areas with a skyline view of the NBA 2K Event Center, and a decent-sized flat-screen TV above the fireplace. To top it off, there is also a pool table. There is a set of stairs however, it is inaccessible as it was in the previous versions of the NBA 2K series.

Best Way To Earn MVP Points
Players can earn MVP points by doing almost any task or by simply playing basketball games. When you complete daily, weekly, career, or any of the optional quests, MVP points can be earned. There are, however, quests that give more MVP points than others. It is important to look at the quest rewards to see which quest will give you more bang for your buck. Some quests can give up to 25,000 – 100,000 MVP points! One best method to earning MVP points is to go through the fashion and music quest lines. Some of these quests will provide you with the 25,000 MVP point rewords. Also, playing the regular career storyline is a great way to best boost to those points.
Penthouse Location
The penthouse is located in between the Fashion Runway and the MyTeam building.
