Wondering what happened to the Jump Shot Creator in NBA 2K20? We did some digging and you may not bee to happy about what answers we found. Don’t worry though, it’s not too bad, it will just take a little grinding to get there!
What happened to the Jump Shot Creator ?!
Finally, after a long and antagonizing wait, NBA 2K20 is here and it could not have come any sooner! Like you, the first thing we did was spend countless hours on strategizing and designing our MyPlayer. After carefully designing our character and going through the MyCareer story we were left searching for the jump shot creator to complete our perfect baller.
After panicking from thinking that this feature had been removed from the game, we calmed down and did some research. Apparently, the jump shot creator is still in the game but it will take a little more effort than last year to unlock.
For those who have played and owned NBA 2K19, it may seem strange that the option to create a personalized jump shot is not immediately available after reaching a certain MyPlayer level. Fortunately, we have the answer to get you going.
Unlocking the Jump Shot Creator
Unfortunately for those that only like to play in the Playground and hoped to never touch the Career mode, we have bad news for you. This year players are required to play the career mode before unlocking the ability to create your own personalized jump shot. In our experience, we have unlocked the jump shot creator by completing career games, practices, and earning a spot on the starting lineup. Some players have reported that they have unlocked this ability with just completing career games however, this was not the case in our experience. We have provided some screenshots and a short video on what you should expect and how to use the NBA 2K20 Jump Shot Creator
What to Expect – Screen Shots and How-To Video
Once you have completed enough career games, practices, and earned your way on to the starting lineup, you will be presented the option to go to a Chris Brickley Workout.
Once you accept the practice, a cut scene with Chris will start. Chris will run you through a number of shooting drills and upon completing the practice, you will receive a notification congratulating you on working with Chris. You can now create your own personalized jump shot!
Now that you have completed the practice, you will have a new option in the MyPlayer Appearance Menu.
To create your jump shot, simply select the jump shot creator option and remember to shave your changes.
