Just like you, we got tired of jogging around the neighborhood and decided that it was time to purchase one of the many rides that NBA 2K20 offers. There are a total of eight possible choices of rides that you are able to choose from. The rides range from skateboards to hoverboards. Each ride has different designs that range in price. Believe us when we say that the rides are not cheap. If you do not have at least 70,000 VC saved up don’t worry about heading over to the Wheels shop.
Players are also able to customize each ride by purchasing additional colored wheels that can be equipped in the player menu. If you’re wondering if your character will move faster than that slow jog, we found that you will indeed move faster while on wheels.
If just cruising around is not enough, you have the option to purchase tricks that you can perform on your ride to show off to other players. Check out the player animation store to purchase tricks.
So when can I get a ride?
While there is a variety of rides that players are able to choose from, each ride will need to be unlocked before being purchased. Just like last year, players will be able to get a new ride as they progress in rep in the Neighborhood. Luckily we have a list for you on what rides are available and the rep that is required to unlock them.
Types of Rides and Rep Requirement
- Skateboard – PRO I
- Scooter – PRO III
- Beach Cruiser – All-Star I
- BMX Bike – All-Star III
- Tandem Bike – SuperStar I
- Low Rider – SuperStar – III
- Hoverboard – Elite II
- Trike – Elite III
Once you reach one of the neighborhood reps that unlock a ride, you can head over to the Wheels shop to purchase a ride.
