Mike Wang Removed Limitless Takeoff Badge From NBA 2K24

There are many badges in NBA 2K23 that have left a mark on the NBA 2K community. The Limitless Takeoff badge is a TOP TIER badge and has been glorified by players that attack the rim. This badge is known to cause players to launch into a dunk animation farther than normal from the basket which can make the dunk much more difficult to block. If you were on defense and the offensive player gets this animation, more times than not, you were getting dunked on. This was the power behind the Limitless Takeoff badge and with one tweet from Mike Wang, it’s gone:

Official Description:

When attacking the basket, a player with this badge will start their dunk animation from farther out than others.

Why Remove The Limitless Takeoff Badge?

For some, this may come as a surprise but for others, they saw this coming. Just last week, Mike Wang released a similar post around the same time, removing another Rim Driving friendly badge, Quick Drop:

This raises a lot of questions concerning how Rim Driving will be in NBA 2K24. This may also mean that defense may be increased with the removal of these offensive-friendly badges. Mike Wang may also be hinting that players will have more control when driving to the lane and choosing when to activate a dunk. With the mention of the new groundbreaking ProPLAY technology, that directly translates NBA footage into NBA 2K24 gameplay, there are a lot of questions that players are sitting on the edge of their seats about. We should see more news regarding NBA 2K24 in the coming weeks.

How to Request a Trade in NBA 2K22 Next-Gen

The NBA draft is an exciting part of the storyline in NBA 2K22 but many players are sent to a team that they are not interested in. Luckily in NBA 2K22, you have the option to request a trade to a team of your choosing. This quick guide will take you through the steps on how to request a trade in MyCareer and get you on the team of your dreams.

When drafted as the number one pick, you will most likely be sent to the Detroit Pistons. This probably isn’t a bad thing because it could help speed up getting on the starting line up faster but they may not have the players that you want to team up with. Unfortunately, you will have to play a few NBA games before you can unlock the ability to request a trade.

With NBA 2K22 going in the direction of making a sports MMORPG, most of the features and unlocks can be found through doing the storyline quests.

As you progress through the season you will be asked to comment on how you feel about your current playing time and not being on the starting lineup. You’ll have the option to air out all the dirty laundry or keep it professional and everything behind closed doors.

Kendrick Perkins will eventually call you out on how you’ve been acting like you want a trade. You will then get the dialog to decide if you what to request a trade.

Once you request the trade you will start a new storyline. You’ll then have to continue to play more NBA games to progress the storyline.

Next, you’ll get a quest with your agent to select the top three teams that you want to get traded to. Make sure that you select the team that you want to go to the most, first.

You’ll also choose whether you want to go public with trade or keep it like before, behind closed doors. If you go public it will speed up the trade and on the other hand, if you keep it behind closed doors the trade will take longer.

There is no exact number of games that you have to play, so just remain patient. Eventually, you’ll go meet your agent and the trade will be final.

How to Get Rebirth Build in NBA 2K22 Next-Gen

In NBA 2K22 Next-Gen you are able to unlock and create a new rebirth build to get a head start on unlocking all of your badges and reach a 99 overall MyPlayer. If you planning on making a new build, this is something that you definitely need to consider because it will cut down on the time that you need to spend grinding badges and leveling up your build.

The rebirth build provides you with a few extra perks that include:

30 of your badge points unlocked
90 Overall MyPlayer (you will need to spend VC)

To get the 90 overall MyPayer you will need to spend VC (virtual currency) on the build.

The quest that you need to complete is called rebirth and you can get it by talking to the character, ATM.

Once you get the quest, you’ll need to have your character at a 90 overall then play 10 3v3 or 2v2 games in the city. Luckily it doesn’t matter if you win or lose the games, you just need to complete the games.

Once you complete the quest you’ll have a new option when you are creating a new build. There will be an explanation of the benefits that a rebirth build gets.

Watch Dogs Legion: How to Recruit a Police Officer -Tips & Tricks

Unlike other games, Watch Dogs Legion lets you play as and recruit any character that you come in contact with. The “N” was removed from the NPC in this game. As your building your team of operatives, you may be trying to figure out the best members to recruit to your team. Without a doubt, the Police officer also known as the Albion Contractor should be one of the first that you have on your list to recruit. Keep reading below to see some benefits and how you can get one on your team…

Finding an Officer

Restricted Areas
As you’ve been exploring around the city and doing missions, you may have noticed that there are quite a bit of areas that are marked red. These areas are restricted without the correct uniform. If you tried to enter this area without the right uniform, you probably found out the hard way, that the area may be well protected. These are also the same areas that you can look to find an Albion Contractor.
Locating an Officer
Drive around the city and look for the people that have on the same uniform for the area that you are entering. If you’re not sure if the person is an officer when you open your phone and look at the player details, it will tell you the person’s profession.
Character Details #1
It is also smart to first add your target recruit to your team and check out the mission and character details before you start the recruit mission. To check out the potential recruit, just open the player main menu and go to the team tab.
Character Details #2
In the team tab, scroll to the bottom section that says potential recruits and find the new character that you added.
Character Details #3
You can see the weapons and skills that the player can use and you can see a full bio. If you are not sure what profession the character is, you can see it here.

You can also check out the mission that you will have to complete and you can start tracking the mission right from the same menu.

Unfortunately, many of the police officers don’t like DedSec especially if you have not unlocked the borough you are currently in. If you have a message that tells you that your recruit hates DedSec, you need to take a look at the player’s deep profile mission. You will need to complete these missions first before you can get the officer you are trying to recruit. You’ll also need to have the deep profiler ability unlocked to start the mission.
Start and Complete the Recruitment Mission
The missions you get will vary and once you completed it, you will get a call from the officer telling you that they will be joining up.

Skills and Abilities

First up- Handcuffs: Allows you to make an arrest.
Uniformed Access: Reduces the enemy’s awareness at Albion (or other uniformed) locations. Restricted Albain areas twill be a transparent red color. Gates scans will be blue There is a limit to line of sight and how close you can get to a guard Or they will notice that you are DedSec and start shooting.

NBA 2K21: Best Badges for a Dominate SF 2-Way Finisher Build

It can be difficult trying to figure out the best defenseive badges that you can put on your two-way finisher build especially if you are new to NBA 2k21 (current-gen). There are a variety of ways that you can change up your badges to make your defender unstoppable in the paint and on the parameter with the best of the point guards out there.

Requirements

Ensure that you make a build with at least 8 defensive badge points.

Two Most Important Badges

There are two badges that can be considered the most important to have on any build that you decide to make in NBA 2k21. These badges are intimidator and Clamps. With a minimum of 8 badges, you should be able to put both of these badges on gold. If you are able to put these two badges to ” Hall of Fame”, it is highly encouraged.

When you are selecting which badge to put on your MyPlayer, it is important that you check out the badge information sheet for more details on how each badge works. This is a major part of understanding how each badge works with each other. The badge information sheet can be opened by using the button at the bottom corner of the screen. If you are using an Xbox it is “Y”.

For example, If we look at the badge info sheet, we can see that that the Intimidator badge increases your shot defense. This means that when you contest a shot the offensive player is less likely to make the shot. This applies to both layups and jump shots. Using Clamps will help stop the ball handler from getting to the lay and basket by cutting off their running path. This is very useful when defending against defenders and other builds that like to explode out of a size up or run around you.

The best thing about the Clamps and Intimidator badges is that it doesn’t matter what position you are playing, the boost will still apply.

Additional Badge Combinations

Playing as a 6’7 265 SF 2-Way Defender build will require you to play in the paint as well as on the parameter. This type of gameplay calls for badges such as box, rebound chaser, and rim protector. These will help with rebounding and ensuring that you are in a position to box out the larger centers in the paint. Rim Protector is key to help prevent getting dunked on buy the slashers and other players that have an open lane to the basket.

Rebounding plays an important role in a basketball game whether that be 3 vs. 3 or the traditional 5 vs. 5 games. If your team is having trouble grabbing boards, you’re in for a long game.

Other badges that you should consider using alongside the previously mentioned badges include pickpocket and interceptor for stealing the ball. Normally the team with the most turnovers, losses the game. With a high steal rating and the boost from those too badges, turnovers will be much easier to create and give your team more chances to win the game.

If you have 30 badge points to work with, you can place the remaining points on badges like brick wall chase down artist and pick dodger.

Depending on what teammates you are playing with you may want to put more points on different badges. If you have a point guard that likes to play off picks, you may want to think about putting as many points as you can on brick wall.

There are a number of ways to make the perfect defender but it all really depends on your play style.

How to Request a Trade in NBA 2K21

Are you wondering how to request a trade in NBA 2K21? If you play NBA 2K21 MyCareer mode you may have wanted to play with a few of the greats like Lebron James, James Harden, and Stef Curry. You may even currently be on one of their teams now. The problem is, what if you want to play with another superstar’s team? What if the team that you’re on is playing horrible and you feel like you need to go somewhere else to get a real shot at the title? There are a number of reasons for why you would want to get traded to another team and if you’re ready to leave and get traded, you’re in the right place. Follow this short guide to get your MyPlayer traded and on to another team.

Requirements

You must be on the starting lineup.
You must have completed 10 regular season games for the team you’re trying to get traded from.
The traded request must be before the trade deadline (before Allstar Weekend)

Step-by-Step Guide

Access the main menu
Once you load into your MyCareer, open the player main menu and select the progression option
Enter the trade menu
In progression menu, select “Request a Trade”
Requesting the trade
Choose the team that you want to be traded to. Make sure you are not past the dread deadline and pay attention to the team interest percentage. This can affect how soon you are traded to the team that you are trying to go to. The less interested the team, the longer it may take for you to get traded.
Tips and Tricks
If you get traded to one team by accident you might have to play a few games before you can get traded again so be careful when you first choose your team and when and if you decide to ask for a trade.

How to find the VC Manager in NBA 2K21

If you’ve been playing the story mode in NBA 2K21 MyCareer you may have started to receive text messages from your agent telling you to pick up the VC you earned from endorsements. The problem is, where do you pick up the VC that you’ve been paid?

Finding the VC Manager Building

Like last year the VC manager building is in the neighborhood but it is not in the most obvious of spots. The easiest way to find the building is to look for the road that leads to the back alleys of the buildings once you load into the 2K Beach. It should be directly behind you.

Follow this road until you see the Gatorade facility. While you are facing the Gatorade Training Facility, the VC manager building is to the right of the build. You should also see the MyTeam building to the left. In front of the building is a small gold sign that you can walk up to and get your VC from endorsements. This time around, there is no cutscene when you receive your VC this year.

NBA 2K21: 1st Cover Athlete Revealed as Damian Lillard

That’s right you heard correct! 2K has announced Damian Lillard as the first of three cover athletes that will be on the cover of the new NBA 2K21 game.

2K has been known to release three different versions of the NBA game each featuring a different cover athlete. The final two cover athletes will be announced later this week along with additional details on how about Pre-ordering NBA 2K21.

If you don’t know already, Damian Lillard AKA “Dame Dollar” is the starting Point Gaurd for the Portland Trail Blazers.

Dame Dollar has achieved many accomplishments behind his name that include a five-time NBA All-Star and NBA Rookie of the Year in 2013.

Aside from his many accolades, it should be known that Damian Lillard can shoot from the half-court like it’s nothing and finish at the rim with ease. From deep Buzzer beaters to flashy layups he will definitely get you out your seat.

NBA 2K21 is set to be available on the current generation consoles Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch. We will also be able to upgrade the game to the next-gen console with no extra cost. So no need to wait for the Playstation 5 or Xbox Series X to get your hands on the game.

Although there is no official release date yet for NBA 2K21, the current date that this game will be available for pre-order is July 2 so be on the lookout.

How to Naruto Run in NBA 2K20

If you are wondering how to Naruto Run in NBA 2K20, then you are in the right place. I have a few quick steps that you can follow to get you back on the court hooping in no time. For those who are new to NBA 2K20, the Naruto Run is one of the many customization options that players are able to equip on their MyPLAYER.

Moving Around the Neighborhood

NBA 2K20 offers many ways to get around the neighborhood. From simply walking around to riding a hoverbike, the developers put a lot of thought into the unique ways to travel. Without a doubt, the Animated Run (also known as the Naruto Run) has one of the biggest rumors of being the fastest and popular movement animations in NBA 2K20. Whether this is true or not, that is up to you to decide. This movement animation does cost some VC, so be prepared to send a little virtual cash.

Follow These Quick Steps

Once you load into the Neighborhood, open the MyPLAYER main menu, and select and enter the MyPLAYER Appearance menu option.

Once you enter the MyPLAYER APPEARANCE menu, locate and select the ANIMATION STORE option. If you have already purchased the Animation Run (Naruto Run) then you can skip to step 6.

In the ANIMATION STORE, select THE NEIGHBORHOOD SIGNATURE MOVEMENT menu option.

Select the MOVING AROUND option.

Locate the Animated Run option. It should be located near the bottom of the list of MyPlayer animations.

Once you have purchased the animation, back out of the store and enter the MY ANIMATIONS menu from the main MyPLAYER menu.

In the MY ANIMATIONS menu, select the and equip your new purchased Naruto Run animation.

Take note and read the direction on how to do the animated run in the neighborhood.
