Wondering how turn off the jump shot meter in NBA 2K20? Do not worry, it is quick and easy to do and I have a few quick steps that can have you back on the court hooping in no time!

Why Turn off the Shot Meter?

For those who are not already aware, there is a specific reason for why most NBA 2K20 gamers would turn off jump shot meter setting. By turning off the jump shot meter, players will receive an added boost to good jump shot releases. This means an increased chance of a green release.

On the other hand, if your release is bad, the chances of the ball going in the hoop are significantly reduced. Some people would say that this is a Pro gamer setting, but the more and more that you learn your jump shot release, the less you will need to rely on the jump shot meter. Okay, enough about why you would change this setting!

Follow these Quick Steps

Step 1: Go to the Options/Quit tab in the MyPlayer Menu.

Step 2: Select and Enter the CONTROLLER SETTINGS menu

Step 3: Change the Shot Meter setting to “Off”.

Step 4: The Shot Meter will no longer be visible.
