Your Inheritance Challenge
- You play as Simon Jones, the heir to a Mount Holly Estate owned by your Gandfather Herbert S. Sinclair.
- You must discover the 46th room—a room hidden from everyone, even the staff, that contains a mysterious gift.
- If you fail to find it before the mansion resets, you lose your chance at the inheritance.
Starting the Game
- You begin in the Entrance Hall with:
- A letter on the table.
- A blueprint used to draft and explore new rooms.
- Three doors are in front of you. Choose wisely!
Understanding the Blueprint Map
- The left side of the screen shows your current layout.
- Each square = one room.
- Open doors on a square show available directions.
- Some rooms are dead ends — avoid getting stuck with no exits!
💡 Tip: If you hit all dead ends, use the “Call it a Day” button in the bottom right to reset.
Inventory & Items
- Items found in rooms go into your inventory (above the reset button).
- They offer buffs but will reset unless stored in a special save room.
Puzzles & Exploration
- Always search every room fully — you might find:
- Coins on the floor
- Puzzle clues
- Hidden rewards
- Solving puzzles correctly can lead to significant upgrades or progress.
- Pay attention to the number of steps you have; you can see the step counter at the top left of the screen.
- Each time you enter a room you will loose steps. Be sure to pay attention to the room modifiers because they can each help you or slow down your progression.
Drafting New Rooms
- When choosing a new room to draft:
- Open your blueprint map.
- Review what rooms you’ve explored.
- Think ahead—some rooms lead nowhere!
