On Black Desert Online players are able to autorun to NPC’s. For those long trips across the map, watch this short video:
Black Desert Online – NPC’s
In Black Desert Online (BDO) there are a number of useful NPC’s that players can interact with. Players can autorun to these NPC’s and are able to buy, sell, and store items that are obtained in the BDO world. Luckily BDO has created a method to easily do this.
Lets Autorun!
Autorunning is an option in BDO that allows players to select a destination, and instruct their character to start jogging along a predetermined path (highlighted in blue or green) to the selected destination. This is great for players because they do not have to interact with their character while traveling. If you don’t realize the benefit of this yet, just wait until you have to travel from one side of the map to the other. Go ahead and set aside 20 minutes or switch to a second character. See more about the benefits of multiple characters here. The sheer size of BDO’s massive map is amazing.
Players can choose to sprint to move even faster across the map. Remember that you will use stamina while sprinting. Let’s not forget about the mounts. Autorun still works with your mount, just bring some carrots along for the ride to maintain energy and health.
Follow These Steps!!!
- Press START to open the menu.
- Highlight and OPEN the World Map.
- Press DOWN on the D-Pad to open the “Find NPC” option at the bottom of the screen.
- Use the Left and Right Bumper to highlight the desired NPC.
- Use the Right Trigger to enable navigation to the highlighted NPC.
- Press Down on the Right Thumbstick to autorun to the NPC.
